Partly a FYI, partly a request: I am building a webpage to assist Character Creation and Progress, in preparation for our FWTD game (All One Gang). It will be database driven, using php pages, and held on my website.
The prototype currently deals with Attributes, Skills, World Views and Personal Ideas, and Health. I am hoping to add a Combat section that cross-references a PCs skill level and Weapon with Manoeuvres to find their Bonus, and Difficulty.
I shall post updates when I hit a significant milestone.
If it is OK, I would like to request any collated data that people have, such as Gang/Skill-Cost charts, Combat Skill/Manoeuvre tables and the like, so that I can easily incorporate them into my scheme, without having to type them all up myself!
Here is a link to a screenshot of the Work-in-Progress Combat sheet, showing what number people need to roll for a Successful Combat Action. It pulls only their non-zero skills from the database, and calculates Specific skill bonus and Level bonus, along with the Attributes involved. e.g. Winter has StreetFighting (Armed) level 3. giving +4 base to pain strike, +4 for each lvl above first. (INL+AGY, Diff 25). Winter has INL 10, 9 AGY . So: 10+9+4+8 = 31! vs D25 gives the -6 shown on the chart. Winter rolls a d20 and checks how much over -6 it is!
I am working on adding Weapons to this, to account for e.g. "Knife (Combat)- ... Range: 0-1. Damage: 2 bladed. Easy slash, easy wing." (+4 on Slash or Wing Actions)
Character Creator is almost done. Combat Sheet is finished*, giving values to roll over, accounting for skill level and weapon. Three levels of Access - Admin, User and Guest. (When it goes live, you will have to contact me directly to be promoted above Guest - working on Registration process ...) Ability to create, Edit, View and delete characters.
Only about half way through entering Gang data.
View (on-screen and Printable) are not done yet.
*Currently allows all weapons to be used with all skills .. use common sense!
